Put the story in order
They started apartment hunting in February.
They looked at all kinds of apartments.
They were ready to give up.
They found the perfect apartment
They were ready to give up.
They told the landlord that they wanted the apartment.
George asked them for references and told them he'd let them
know his decision by the end of the week.
George called to tell them they could have the apartment.
They signed the lease and gave George two cheques.
They went home to start packing.
